Usually a DVD would contain more than just the movie itself, it might have some unseen footages or deleted scenes or something else, so you need to decide what content to include in the MP4 video. If you don’t need anything else other than the main movie, choose Main Movie. If you want all the videos in the disc to be included in the output video, just choose Full Movie. And you can use Custom Mode to manually select the content you need. Step 4. Find the MP4 Video button above the video list and click on it. On the menu that appears below the button, choose Change to select a video format for the video(s) you are ripping from the disc. When you find a format you think is suitable, click on it and it will be set as default and you will return to the video list as well. And the MP4 video will change to the format you just chose. Click on this Format button again and there’s an Edit button on it that can get you to the Profile Settings page and change the parameters of the format you just chose.

Step 5. Next to the Format button is the Convert button with a green background. Click this button to call out the sidebar for the final step. Under Save to is the default output path which can be changed to whatever location you need. Click the button next to it to reset the location if you want.
