How to Remove DRM-Encrypted eBook from Adobe Digital Editions

Part 1: Remove DRM from Adobe Digital Edition

Step 1: Launch the Adobe Digital Edition

Click the downloaded Adobe Digital Edition APP icon on your PC and enter your Adobe account to authorize this computer. After launching the App, you will see the following interface.

Tip: make sure the book you want to remove the DRM protection from has been downloaded.

Step 2: Import the file

Click “Add Files” on the sub-menu bar or directly drag the files to the middle of the interface . After tapping the ”Add Files” button, you will see the ”Adobe” button on the left sidebar. Click the refresh icon , all the downloaded books on your Adobe Digital Edition library will be showed on the right frame.

Step 3: Set the output format

After importing the eBooks, this button will help you to check the detailed information of the file. Then you can choose an eBook file and click the “Edit” button to select one output format from epub, mobi, azw3, text. You can tick the option from “Apply this All” or “apply to current”.

Step 4: Save the converted book

Find the proper output directory for saving you converted book by clicking “…” output button at the bottom.

Step 5: Remove DRM from Adobe Digital Edition

After setting the output directory, you can click the blue “Convert” button at the bottom for removing DRM-protected eBook from Adobe. The eBook DRM conversion process will be completed in seconds.
