Apple’s iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c have been released finally, now when you are planning to purchase one from them, besides worrying about the data transfer from old iPhone to iPhone 5s/5c, another thing you may have to consider is its network support. As we know, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C both support cellular networks, Bluetooth 4.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n). Another inspiring news for Apple fans is that Apple brings in its international time-division LTE (TD-LTE) support for iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s.

 4G LTE on iPhone 5s

Apple Wednesday event has unveiled its international LTE support for iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. Apple’s LTE support list for iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c covers most of the world’s commercially deployed 4G networks. The new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c support up to 17 kinds of 4G bands around the world, more than any other smartphone available on the market today. However, China Mobile is not included in the list now.

As the world’s largest operator, China Mobile hasn’t received a commitment from Apple to support its 3G TD-SCDMA networks and maybe will never receive, but it could eventually attach the TD-LTE iPhones to its future 4G networks.

According to leaked information from China MIIT website, the network access application of models of A1516、A1518、A1529、A12530 for iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c have been approved. But due to the official licenses for these 4 kinds of iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c models have not been issued formally, so Apple hasn’t put China into its LTE supporting countries list and it will take some time for China Mobile to bring in the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c which support China Mobile TD-LTE.

China Mobile and iPhone 5s cooperation

It is breath-taking news for Chinese Apple fans, but the cooperation between China Mobile and Apple has been set. So just take a breath and expect together what awesome experience you can enjoy with LTE on iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. Hope it will be as cool as what Apple has described: “With LTE on iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, you can browse the web, stream content, or download a movie at blazing-fast speed.”

Though the Apple phone release event hasn’t brought us much surprise owing to the incomplete confidentiality measures. As a prestigious phone brand, we are sure that the iPhone 5s, the first 64‑bit smartphone in the world will make a breakthrough in the market.
