How to set up parental controls on iPad - Set up Restrictions<\/b><\/h2>\n
There's a feature in all iOS devices called Restrictions, a.k.a. Parental Controls that you can take advantage of to limit your kids' access to the games or other features in iPad. As long as you know how to setup patental controls on iPad, the things your kids can do with the iPad could be limited to whatever you decide. <\/p>\n
Here's how to setup parental controls on iPad.<\/p>\n

- Step 1. On your iPhone, tap Settings>General>Restrictions<\/b>, and then tap Enable Restrictions<\/b>.<\/li>\n\n

Another feature on iPad that can work as parental control is Guided Access. It allows users to:<\/p>\n

- Disable certain areas of the screen.<\/li>\n
- Disable physical buttons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Here's how to use parental controls on iPad by setting up Guided Access<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Step 1<\/b>. To activate Guided Access<\/b>, Tap Settings>General>Accessibility>Guided Access<\/b>. Tap on Guided Access<\/b> to activate it.<\/p>\n
\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\nStep 2<\/b>. Now that you've activated Guided Access<\/b>, you can open an app and triple-click the home button to use Guided Access<\/b>. Tap Options<\/b> in the bottom left for more options. You can disable Sleep\/Wake button, Volume buttons, Motion, Keyboards<\/b> and Touch<\/b> and set Time Limit<\/b>.<\/p>\n

- Disable Motion<\/b> to prevent iPad from responding to any other motions.<\/li>\n
- Disable Keyboards<\/b> and users wouldn't be able to use keyboards after activating Guided Access<\/b>.<\/li>\n
- Disable Touch<\/b> and iPad wouldn't respond to any touch on the screen.<\/li>\n
- Activate Time Limit<\/b> and when time's up, users wouldn't be able to use the iPad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Step 3<\/b>. When you are done setting up, tap Done<\/b> and then tap Start<\/b> to start using Guided Access<\/b>. You should be prompted to enter a passcode which will be used for exiting Guided Access<\/b>.<\/p>\n
