While iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have released for months, AppleInsider reported the news on earlier release of iPhone 7, next model Apple will release in 2016. AppleInsider marked it exclusive news, and tells people the news comes from a reliable source, but whether iPhone 7 will be released earlier than its predecessors will still depends.<\/p>\n

As Apple fans, people always want to hear the latest news about Apple\u2019s product plans, and expect the latest features on the latest models. Although the rumors and predictions aren\u2019t always accurate, they bring us topics after dinner. The iPhone 7 models may be way different from the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus models, and as likely customers, we would like to see these new features and updates in iPhone 7.<\/p>\n

What We Want to See in iPhone 7<\/h2>\n

1. Better Screen<\/h3>\n

Bend gate of iPhone 6 isn\u2019t a piece of latest news anymore, and I believe no one will see that again on iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus. In iPhone 7, we would like to see a better screen which isn\u2019t that easy to be broken or shattered. The rumored sapphire display didn\u2019t come on iPhone 6s models, as the GTAT has applied for bankruptcy, so it won\u2019t be able to provide sapphire for iPhone 7. And due to the gross shortage of sapphire displays, there is little chance that iPhone 7 will be equipped with sapphire screen, but we may want a scratch-resistant screen like Sony Xperia series.<\/p>\n

2. Better Battery Life<\/h3>\n

Although Apple claims a better battery life after every update, people still don\u2019t see obvious improvement. So we would like to see the improvements on battery life in iPhone 7, at least we would like to see an obvious improvement when comparing with the older models. The battery life of iPhone has been a complaint ever since iPhone 5, and we don\u2019t want to charge our devices once a day. Low Battery Mode is good, but the extra one hour is just not enough.<\/p>\n

3. Improved RAM and Storage<\/h3>\n

iPhone 6s models are equipped with 2GB RAM, which a good update from the predecessor, but compared various kinds of 4GB devices in the market, 2GB isn\u2019t that outstanding. So we would like to see an up-to-date RAM in iPhone 7 models. Also, we are expecting the 32GB entry-level iPhone other than 16GB models, because we easily run out of storage space when using 16GB iPhones, and cannot install many apps.<\/p>\n

4. Wireless Charging<\/h3>\n

As the USB cable Apple provides with iPhone is easy to be broken, so we would like to see a wireless-charging iPhone 7 in 2016. We can get rid of the troublesome USB cables with a wireless-charging iPhone, and we\u2019ll also benefit from wireless charging if there are some in Starbucks or Walmart.<\/p>\n

5. Waterproof iPhone 7<\/h3>\n

Competitors like Samsung and Sony have released their waterproof Android phones years ago, so we also want to see a completely waterproof iPhone 7. If iPhone 7 comes waterproof, it may also come with totally new design. The current design of iPhone is obviously not waterproof, so the next model may adjust its speakers, and the lighting port.<\/p>\n

As reported by 9to5Mac<\/a>, the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that Apple will release a 4-inch iPhone model next year along with iPhone 7 as the iPhone 5s\u2019 updated version. The 4-inch iPhone model will be equipped with A9 processor and M9 co-processor, and will have metal case.<\/p>\n
