1) Quit apps

It often occurs that my iPhone is getting hot. Sometimes, when running too many apps, those apps occupy a large usage of device processor, which leads to the overheating of our iPhone. In this situation, you can quit those apps.

B. Swipe up those apps you want to remove or quit.

2) Update apps

Many apps may be imperfect, so developers keep improving those apps and post new versions. Those apps in new version will fix some problems that previous apps have. You can simply go to App Store > Update > Update All. To some extent, the heating problem should be fixed.

3) Update iOS

Sometimes, the problem lies in iOS itself. You can update iOS to get rid of the issue. Before carrying out this step, please remember to back up your iPhone data.

4) Reset all settings

6) Turn off WiFi or Bluetooth

WiFi and Bluetooth can also be the reasons of overheating problem, for they will keep your iPhone searching WiFi and Bluetooth devices. There are two simple ways to close WiFi and Bluetooth.

A. Swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone to enter into Control Center.
B. Click the WiFi and Bluetooth icon to turn them off until the colors of these two icons turn into gray.
